The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
