Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinful 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Surely those who fear and follow the straight path will be in a place of peace and security 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As a Bounty from your Lord! That will be the supreme success! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
