The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
