The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
