The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
