The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) befalls. 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones), 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 And shade extended 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virginal, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 For those on the right. 38

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
