Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
