Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
