Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! 59 The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error. 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 What, do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord should come to you by the lips of a man from among you? That he may warn you, and you be godfearing, haply to find mercy.' 63 But they called him a liar, and We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and drowned the others who rejected Our signs, for they were a people purblind. 64
