Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O THOU human being! 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
