Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
