Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

We shall attach to him who goes blind to the remembrance of Ar-Rahman a devil as companion, -- 36 And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder them from the Path (of Allah), but they think that they are guided aright! 37 When such a person comes to Us, he will say [to his comrade], "If only you had been as far away from me as east is from west. What an evil comrade!" 38 Because of the harm you did, it would be of no benefit to you today, you are partners in the punishment. 39 Can you [Prophet] make the deaf hear? Or guide either the blind or those who are in manifest error? 40 But if We should take you away, still We shall inflict retribution on them; 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path. 43 And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned. 44 You can ask Our Messengers whom We sent before you if We had commanded them to worship other gods besides the Beneficent God?" 45
