Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 in it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, upon every command. 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5
