We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
