Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
