۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 they have enraged us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
