The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
