Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
