The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
