The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 covered down upon them, 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
