The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
