T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Most Beneficent (Allah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. 6 Whether or not you express (your thoughts) in words, God certainly knows all unspoken thoughts and all that is even more difficult to find. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 I Myself have chosen you; therefore, give ear to what is revealed. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 "Behold, [although] I have willed to keep it hidden, the Last Hour is bound to come, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with what he strove for [in life]. 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token. 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
