Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 We sent him as a messenger to a hundred thousand people or more, 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
