And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 about what they did. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
