The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
