(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
