The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not cause their schemes to go astray? 2 And He sent against them birds in flocks. 3 Which hit them with stones of baked clay, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
