S (Saad)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Saad* – By oath of the renowned Qur’an, (Alphabet of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 No, the unbelievers exalt in their division. 2 Many a generation We did destroy before them – thereupon they cried out whereas it is not the time to escape! 3 Now they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a lying sorcerer. 4 What! makes he the gods a single Allah? A strange thing is this, to be sure! 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 Never did we hear of [a claim like] this in any faith of latter days! It is nothing but [a mortal man's] invention! 7 Hath unto him the admonition been sent down from amongst us! Yea! they are in doubt concerning My admonition. Yea! they have not yet tasted My torment. 8 Or do they hold the treasures of the mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Great Bestower? 9 Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any 10 This is just one of the disgraced armies, that will be routed there and then. 11 The folk of Noah before them denied (their messenger) and (so did the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh firmly planted, 12 And Samood and the people of Lut and the dwellers of the thicket; these were the parties. 13 None of them was such that it did not deny the Noble Messengers, therefore My punishment became inevitable. 14
