The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
