The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
