No affliction befalls, except it be by the leave of God. Whosoever believes in God, He will guide his heart. And God has knowledge of everything. 11 Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But, if you turn away, Our Messenger's duty is only to deliver the Clear Message. 12 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. In Allah, therefore, let believers put their trust. 13 Believers! [Even] among your wives and your children you have enemies: so beware of them. But if you overlook their offences and forgive and pardon them, then surely, God is most forgiving and merciful. 14 Your possessions and your offspring are nothing but a trial for you. And there awaits a great reward for you with Allah. 15 Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful. 16 if you give a good loan to God, He will multiply it for you and forgive you, for God is appreciative and forbearing; 17 He knows that which is beyond the ken of perception as well as that which can be perceived. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 18
