With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they charged each other with this? Nay! they are an inordinate people. 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
