And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Musa said: thou wilt find me, if Allah will, patient, and shall not disobey thee in any affair. 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70
