The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
