Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
