Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a right way. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
