WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
