But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He asked: 'Messengers, what is your errand' 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
