Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
