▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
