The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
