Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
