With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
