The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the Fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
