We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
