The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
