The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
