Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 but those whose scales are light shall forfeit their souls and live in Gehenna (Hell) for ever. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
Almighty God's Truth.
