Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 so be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and obey not one of them, sinner or unbeliever. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. 26 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 VERILY, all this is an admonition: whoever, then, so wills, may unto his Sustainer find a way. 29 Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) He has prepared a painful torment. 31
