Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
